Doha: Chances of rain are expected to continue during the weekend, according to a weather update by Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD).
The department also mentioned that some parts of Qatar received rain including the Al Khor area early in the morning and light rain was also reported in the western parts of the country.
Furthermore, QMD stated that the wind will mainly blow in the northwesterly to northeasterly direction at light to moderate speed.
It also reminded citizens and residents to take precautions as thunderstorms may occur at times.
