Doha: Texas A&M University at Qatar, a Qatar Foundation partner university, presented the Texas A&M University Association of Former Students (AFS) for distinguished achievements in teaching award to Dr. Bilal Mansoor, director of the Center for Teaching and Learning and a mechanical engineering faculty member.
He received the award for his dedication toward achieving excellence in engineering education, and for his distinguished record of teaching, research and service.
AFS represents the more than 525,000 graduates of Texas A&M around the world. On receiving the award, Mansoor said, “It is great to be recognised.”
