DOHA: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held on Thursday a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran HE Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
During the phone call, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries, developments in the negotiations to return to the Joint Plan of Action with the US, and several issues of common interest.
During the phone call, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs said the State of Qatar looks forward to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America reaching a consensus that would contribute to reviving the nuclear deal and reaching a fair agreement for all, taking into consideration the concerns of all parties. HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that this would enhance security and stability in the region.
