Doha: Al Corniche Street from Sharq Intersection to Al Meena Intersection will be closed for two days, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced on social media.
It added that the two-day closure for traffic coming from Sharq Intersection will be on Friday and Saturday, July 1-2, 2022. The road closure is being implemented to complete Al Corniche Street upgrading works.
During the closure, road users heading for Al Meena Intersection, from C Ring Road should turn left towards A Ring Road Street and use Ali Bin Amur Al Attiya Street or Grand Hamad Street.
Meanwhile, those coming from Al Wakra and Hamad International Airport via Ras Bu Abboud St. towards Al Corniche St can keep on Sharq Intersection Bridge towards A Ring Rd then and use Ali Bin Amur Al Attiya St. or Grand Hamad St. and follow traffic diversion signs to reach their destination.
